Sanctified

The measure of faith

Hebrews 10:12-14 – But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, (verse 13) from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. (verse 14) For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

According to these verses, we were sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Then in verse 14, that if you were sanctified, you’ve been perfected forever. These verses are not talking about your body or soul. These verses are talking about our spirit that was changed when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Here’s where some get confused: My spirit was made new, holy, and sanctified at salvation. But our mind, emotions, and body, well, we’re still working on them and will until the time of Christ coming. We start to renew our minds, the way we think, by reading God’s Word. When we start to follow God’s ways according to His ways, our behavior will change.

God said He has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts crying, Abba, Father (Galatians 4:6)

Romans 8:9 – If any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.

When you are born-again, then you have a born-again spirit that is identified to Jesus, then God deals with us based on who you are in the spirit.

Lets not ever forget: That same power that raised Christ from the dead, lives on the inside of each believer (Ephesians 1:18-20). So we can walk by the Spirit.

So, why do people spend time asking God to pour out His Spirit and reign down power, that same power we already have?

Our problem is, we just don’t know how to make it manifest in our lives.

Our prayers are not blocked going up to heaven. It’s our answers to those prayers that can be blocked by demons trying to keep them from us. Proof is in Daniel’s prayer, from the moment he prayed. His answer was delayed because the angel’s of the Lord had to do battle with principalities to get the answer to Daniel.

So we ask, “Who’s greater?” God of course. Who’s greater on the inside of you? Jesus the Christ! We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! Your answer is on its way, for the battle is not yours. Wait upon the Lord and you will see it!
