Psalm 148

Psalm 148

Author: Anonymous

Let All Creation Praise the Lord

Verse 1 – Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights!

Verse 2 – Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts!

Verse 3 – Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all you stars of light!

Verse 4 – Praise Him, you heaven of heavens, and you waters above the heavens!

Verse 5 – Let them praise the name of the Lord, for He commanded and they were created.

Verse 6 – He has also established them forever and ever; He has made a decree which shall not pas away.

All creation is like a majestic symphony. If you’ve ever seen films of where scientist are able to put microphones out in the galaxy, you can hear the stars and the planets making a melody. Birds, in the mornings are singing, even the great whales of the oceans sing. How much more should we praise the Most High individually and with other believers?

Verse 7 – Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all the depths;

Verse 8 – Fire and hail, snow and clouds; stormy wind, fulfilling His Word;

Verse 9 – Mountains and all hills; fruitful trees and all cedars;

Verse 10 – Beasts and all cattle; creeping things and flying fowl;

Verse 11 – Kings of the earth and all peoples; princes and all judges of the earth;

Verse 12 – Both young men and maidens; Old men and children.

Verse 13 – Let them praise the name of the Lord, for His name also is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven.

Verse 14 – And He has exalted the horn of His people, the praise of all His saints – of the children of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise the Lord!

There is no God but One. I think the majority of people know that, but still will follow other false gods. There is only One that will lead to heaven, and His name is Jesus. All other gods that are man-made, are still dead. Only One raised from the dead and is still living today in each believer – Jesus the Christ!
